| An Associate Professor at Berklee College Of Music, Jim teaches Arranging and Bass. Jim has published extensively, including; The Music Of Paul Chambers, Creating Jazz Bass Lines, The Quarter Note Melody, and Reading in Bass Clef. Jim is the musical director of the Bass Workout. Jim also serves as an online columnist for the International Institute Of Bassists. Some of Jim’s credits include performances with: Joe Diorio, Lionel Loueke, Bob Sheppard, Kenwood Dennard, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Phineas Newborn Jr., Tal Farlow, Ernie Watts, Red Garland, Phish, Roy Haynes, and Greg Bissonette. At Stinnett Academy of Music, Jim teaches a variety of courses and also leads the school’s various ensembles. |
