EN001 - Jazz Ensemble
All Instruments
Description:  Jazz Ensemble will focus on learning the standards. All members of the ensemble will study and perform all aspects of each song. Basic reading skills are required. This class is available by audition only.

Description:  Funk/Fusion Ensemble participants will learn and perform standard repertoire from this style. Basic reading skills are required. This class is available by audition only.

EN003 - Bass Ensemble
Bass
Description:  Practice and performance techniques will be the focus of this class. Students will study dynamics, articulations, sound production, synergy, and listening skills. Basic reading skills are required. This class is available by audition only.

EN005 - Ensemble Techniques
All Instruments
Description:  This ensemble is for musicians with very little, or no prior group experience. Topics to be covered; listening, sound production, dynamics, rhythmic development, intonation, synergy, texture, and musical forms. No reading skills required. Students will play music the majority of time in each class.

EN006 – Free Form Ensemble
All Instruments
Description: Open to all students. No prior experience necessary. This group will explore improvisation and how to organize your musical thoughts. Parameters of design will include; dynamics, articulation, texture, regiter, pitch, rhythm, form, and tension & resolution.

EN007 – Drum Circle
All Instruments
Description: Open to all students, this ensemble is fashioned after the Gamelan music of Bali and Java. Percussion instruments will be supplied for the group. No prior percussion experience or ensemble experience needed. All students will rotate form instrument to instrument and explore the different levels of rhythmic involvement.

Description: Latin Vocal Ensemble will focus on music in the style of Carlos Antonio Jobim. The instrumentation will consist of rhythm section and vocalist(s). This class is available by audition only.
